100 Sunflower Thumbnails

Yet another Design project... 100 ways to draw a sunflower. A lot harder than it sounds.

Manny Coon

A piece dedicated to one of my favorite people in the world, Kids in the Hall's Scott Thompson; I gave a copy of this to the man himself when I saw him performing in Toronto a few weeks ago!
This is a portrait of the great Manny Coon, whose monologue is probably one of my favorite ways to spend five minutes out of the day.

Reactionary Collage

Another design project that I really liked doing; a 10x10 reactionary collage made out of magazine clippings.

Baby Accordion

So, this drawing was for my design class as well, and was supposed to be accompanied by a wire sculpture of the object we had chosen to draw... unfortunately, wire sculpting an accordion turned out to be way harder than I expected, but I'm still pretty happy with how my line drawing turned out.

The Clown Statue

I'm finally getting around to uploading some of my Design projects from last semester; this particular one was for an accordion book project based around Urban Legends. I got to do one of my favorite urban legends, the Clown Statue, which can be read here. I used thickly applied oil pastels for most of the backgrounds, along with Prismacolor pencils for the finer details.
